Specialist Lloyd’s broker New Dawn Risk has appointed Charlotte Cansdale‑Rose as Head of Property to build out its property D&F capability in the US and international markets.
Based in London, Charlotte will lead New Dawn Risk’s property offering, with a focus on hard-to-place commercial risks. She will manage senior client relationships and oversee complex property placements, including for all risks of direct physical loss or damage, business interruption, and natural catastrophe perils.
“Charlotte has a strong track record in managing complex property risks and building out high‑quality teams,” said Max Carter, Chief Executive Officer of New Dawn Risk Group. “Demand for specialist solutions in this space is growing, particularly for the kinds of challenging exposures the wider market struggles to absorb. Charlotte’s appointment is a decisive step in building a property D&F capability that mirrors our expertise in cyber and financial lines.”
Charlotte joins from Evolin Broking, where she served as Divisional Director. She has extensive experience in placing large and difficult property risks across real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, industrial, and food & beverage sectors.
“New Dawn Risk’s position as an independent Lloyd’s broker and its focus on complex risk made this a compelling opportunity,” said Charlotte Cansdale-Rose. “The firm is at an exciting stage, and I’m looking forward to working with our producing brokers and clients to implement bespoke and creative solutions.”
Charlotte joins New Dawn Risk’s senior management team and will play a central role in the firm’s continued growth and the expansion of its specialty capabilities.
