New Dawn Risk Group appoints Roma Kanabar as Head of Finance

Specialist Lloyd’s broker New Dawn Risk has announced the appointment of Roma Kanabar as Head of Finance, commencing immediately.

Roma brings 13 years of experience working across various financial accounting positions and will play a crucial role in providing New Dawn Risk with financial leadership.

“Roma brings a wealth of experience to her role as Head of Finance,” said Constance Dyson, Chief Operating Officer at New Dawn Risk Group. “She has a proven track record in overseeing high-performing finance functions, with deep expertise in reporting, budgeting, accounting, and meeting the regulatory standards required of a Lloyd’s broker. Her commercial insight and ability to support both existing and new business will be invaluable as we continue to drive strategic growth across our key markets.”

Based in London, Roma most recently spent over four years at Paragon International Insurance Brokers, where she progressed from Financial Controller to Head of Finance. Prior to this, she served in numerous financial accounting and auditing roles across multiple firms, gaining broad experience in financial and auditing functions across diverse industries.

Roma will join New Dawn Risk’s senior management team.
